We are thanking our lucky stars every day that we found A Steady Hand to provide 24/7 care giving for our son.  He is autistic, non-verbal and has epilepsy. 

The level of communication that A Steady Hand provides is absolutely without comparison – either via phone, email or text – the staff is happy to inform us about how our son is doing and if any issues have occurred. Their follow-up is thorough and fast with the added benefit of giving us suggestions based on their own experiences, which have been insightful and valuable to our son.  The staff’s level of care is excellent and consistent – but most importantly, the staff interacts with our son on a daily basis. 

The atmosphere in the house is very positive and happy.  Having had bad experiences with other care companies, we feel that A Steady Hand is RARE because their company philosophy is in the right place – they truly care about the quality of life for their consumers – much more than any other company in the industry. 

Whenever we see our son now, we know that he is being well cared for because he looks great, is smiling and happy.  We know that he is enjoying life with his friends from A Steady Hand.  We would recommend them absolutely without reservation.

My young adult son Josh moved out of our family home in November 2015 to an apartment with a roommate. The team at A Steady Hand was there every step of the way.  They ensured a smooth transition with the many details involved and their prompt communication with our family was reassuring. 

Josh is well cared for and loves living in his apartment. When I visit, everything is clean and well maintained.  His staff is attentive to his needs and encourages him to be as independent as possible.  They help Josh with his appointments and outings as well as his day-to-day routine. They are respectful of him and allow him choices when possible. 

I am pleased with A Steady Hand's care of Josh and highly recommend them. I am so glad that Josh has such compassionate and professional support in his life.

 As my daughter was preparing to move into her first apartment we were given the task of selecting a supported living specialist for her new home. After interviewing several very different companies we chose A Steady Hand.

A special needs adult can present a variety of unanticipated problems.  Through a myriad of transitions Kory has always attempted to find the best solution to meet my daughters needs. A Steady Hand has done an excellent job of being the liaison between my daughter, her Service Coordinator and myself.

As you can imagine, this transition hasn't been an easy one but A Steady Hand provided a nurturing environment for my daughter to be successful.
